My name is Ruth. My work isn't to hand you a catalogue of destinations. My work is to understand how you like to live — and then turn that understanding into an experience that feels like you.
I take the time to understand your habits, your pace, your passions, what drives you, what amuses you, what intrigues you and what you actually need. Some expectations are stated plainly. Others emerge over the course of a conversation.
Are you travelling to reconnect? To pass something on? To learn? To celebrate? To show your children something? To be surprised? Usually it's some of each.
A good experience isn't a full one. It's a well-judged one.
An artist who welcomes you into their studio. A chef who tells you about their region through their cooking. A historian who can make a city come alive. A family, a craftsperson, an entrepreneur, a guide, a naturalist — someone genuinely absorbed in what they do.
The best memories rarely come from a list of places. They come from the people you meet, and from what those people let you understand or feel.
I might love a culturally dense day and then decide it needs air. A lunch that runs long. Time on the water. A moment by the sea. A surprise. A dinner that's spectacular, or simply happy.
I'm looking for the right balance between depth, curiosity, beauty, energy and enjoyment.
The most important work is usually the work you'll never see: selecting, comparing, confirming, following up, adjusting, building an alternative, checking one more detail, removing anything that's stopped being good enough.
That invisible work is exactly what allows you, once you're there, to simply let go.
A last-minute change, a delay, unexpected weather, a particular need — you shouldn't have to become the organiser of your own journey. Part of my role is to take over when something has to be resolved.
Precision without rigidity. Care without display. Presence without intrusion.
No destination required, no commitment. Just tell us what you'd like to experience.
